seine, a river that divides paris in two, is typically a calm and scenic place to take a walk, enjoy a baguette and glass of wine, or even ride a boat down the river itself.  in 2016, heavy rains caused the seine to rise over 6 meters and flood the center of paris.  the flood was the worst paris has seen since 1910.

everywhere you look in paris, the doors are amazing!  i was told by a parisienne that every door is different in paris.
